Group Therapy can be a powerful force for change!
Irving Yalom’s Therapeutic Factors highlight the ways in which group therapy can at times be more effective than individual therapy. Group is also a great option for those in the Maintenance phase of wellness to help sustain the benefits of therapeutic work or for those in early stages of therapy as it can expedite the process of recovery in conjunction with individual therapy. Additionally, Group therapy can serve as an affordable alternative to individual therapy for those who may be uninsured or have high deductible plans and unable to afford the higher cost of individual therapy.
Group Therapy Offerings:
• Women's Group-using Seeking Safety model
• Substance Use and Compulsive Behaviors group
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)
• DBT Stage II, III, IV
**Groups are held with adequate participation and may not be year round
